We have a suitable opening in the Sourcing dept. for the role of Sourcing Manager – RM for SAPMENA (South Asia, Pacific, Middle East, North Africa) zone, based in Mumbai. You come with a relevant experience of 4-6 years in the field of project management-cosmetics/personal care/chemistry industry.

As the Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible to lead sourcing RM securization and localization activities for SAPMENA Diversification/substitution/localization/BCP projects etc, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners to support growth, secure business and maximize value for L’Oréal group.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyse project needs/scope, anticipates business activity and build up relevant sourcing strategic frame, animate the network, and lead best practices. Ensure the most valuable contribution from projects to be implemented successfully.
  • Lead strategic diversification/substitution/localization projects for south Asia, in order to minimize business risk and bring flexibility/agility, onboard new suppliers and influence stakeholders on projects, creates value and innovates to propose and breakthrough to support/accelerate strategic projects/program to support/reinforce South Asia business needs.
  • Manage project process, define/drive clear roadmap with sourcing/collaborative stakeholders (Corporate team/quality/R&I, etc) and external partners while ensure whole process to meet internal control policy. 
  • Support and manage internal stakeholders (Corporate team/quality/R&I, etc) relationship, communicate/manage projects and share/communicate with stakeholders.
  • Evaluate/anticipate and manage risk, define/identify risk level for projects. Raise up communication with stakeholders, drive and workout action plan to secure key risky projects.
  • Implement project management in IT tools (mysourcing)
  • Manage performance and efficiency; be accountable for purchasing performance, e.g. saving/business securisation/L’Oréal for the future, etc. Regularly update project performance reporting/newsletters.
  • Formulate improvements for process and tools ensure project quality (saving/business securization)

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in in Chemistry/food/pharmaceutical

Professional Experience: 

4 years+ in project management,

4 years+ in cosmetics/personal care/chemistry industry

Formulator/sourcing operation experience is a plus

 

Travel required: Travel will be need based around 30%
