Job Summary:

Urban Decay is looking for a Manager of Global Education to lead the execution of our community-first education strategy. This role is the vital link between DMI brand concepts and real-world field execution. You will be responsible for scaling the Urban Decay education vision across all O+O (Online + Offline) touchpoints, with a primary focus on building robust selling material that international markets can localize and deploy.


You are an expert educator who understands the retail environment and can translate product innovation into clear, consistent training content. You have a deep expertise in makeup artistry, digital content creation and community engagement to deliver education that is bold, culturally relevant and true to Urban Decay’s identity. Your goal is to empower Beauty Advisors worldwide to upskill consumers from "clean girl" to makeup experimentation.


Responsibilities

New Product Launch Training & Omni-Channel Integration

    Lead and execute our global education strategy that aligns with Urban Decay’s vision and business objectives.

    Own the development of comprehensive global training material for all new product launches. 

    Serve as the cross-functional O+O partner, ensuring cross-functional product education integration across digital, in-store and social channels.

    Work closely with all DMI teams from concept to activation to develop product education that delivers clear, consistent messaging, categorization, and usage guidance across all channels to enhance consumer experience.

Global Leadership & Subject Matter Expertise

    Act as the primary education partner for our global markets with emphasis on the US, UK and SAPMENA.

    Foster a culture of creativity & collaboration within the global education function.

    Design and facilitate global education seminars twice per year, including Train the Trainer sessions.

    Develop and manage evergreen education programs that scale the brand's vision globally, including Selling the UD Way providing concise education resources for global markets. 

    Leverage data and global insights to adapt content and training strategies to meet the evolving needs of markets and consumers while maximizing impact and ROI.

Drive Education Through Community 1st Content

    Own the strategy and content creation roadmap for Urban Decay's YouTube channel as a major tutorial and streaming platform for makeup experimentation.

    Drive an education content vision that upskills the "clean girl" into anti-bland, showcasing a modern take on how-tos, hacks, ways to wear with fresh, on-demand content snippets for global markets.

    May be required to be camera-facing as the face of consumer/country anti-bland how-to videos.

    Actively engage with the Urban Decay Reddit community — the #1 discovery platform — to drive education conversations with consumers. Share Urban Decay's education point of view and contribute meaningfully to broader makeup discussions and trending conversations.


Requirements

    5+ years of experience in Education, preferably within beauty or cosmetics. Field experience preferred.

    Deep expertise in makeup artistry with a strong pulse on beauty trends, social media culture (YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, Instagram) and consumer behaviors.

    Experience creating digital-first, community-driven education content.

    Comfortable being camera-facing and presenting to diverse audiences, from consumers to global education teams.

    Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to manage projects from concept through activation in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

    Exceptional communication and presentation skills — able to simplify complex artistry techniques and inspire both internal teams and external communities.

    Strong global mindset with experience supporting regional and local teams across diverse markets and cultural landscapes.

    Highly organized and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.


Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

    Salary Range: $90,000-$153,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
