Job Title: (Sr.) Real Estate Manager
A Day in the Life
As our new Real Estate Manager based in Seoul, you will report directly to the Operations Director and play a pivotal role in shaping L'Oréal Korea's physical footprint. You will be the central expert for our entire real estate portfolio, ensuring our properties—from corporate offices to retail boutiques—are managed efficiently and strategically to support our dynamic growth.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Portfolio & Project Leadership: Oversee all real estate projects, including leases, acquisitions, sales, and contract renewals, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
- Strategic Management: Develop and maintain a strategic overview of our property portfolio, conducting regular market benchmarks to optimize performance and identify new opportunities.
- Facility, Asset & Security Management: Oversee the maintenance and security of all L’Oréal‑owned buildings, including vacant properties, ensuring assets are well‑maintained and protected. Lead crisis and business continuity management through the implementation of Crisis Management Plans and Business Continuity Plans, ensure application of Group Security Policies, and conduct regular security reporting and assessments.
- Sustainability & Compliance: Drive our environmental initiatives by managing LEED certifications, monitoring renewable energy usage, and leading the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for site administration.
- Stakeholder Management: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Brand teams, EHS, Legal, Finance, Sourcing, General Affairs, and the Zone Real Estate team
We Are Looking For
An ideal candidate for this role is a strategic and proactive professional with a strong background in real estate and property management. You are a natural leader, capable of managing complex projects and navigating a multi-divisional organization with ease.
We are looking for someone with:
- Strategic Portfolio & Project Management: 7+ years of expertise in strategic real estate portfolio management and end-to-end project planning, from design and build through to execution.
- Strong Business & Financial Acumen: High-level finance literacy, with proven ability in budget management, policy design, and understanding of relevant legal frameworks.
- Advanced Negotiation & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in negotiating complex deals and managing relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical & Geopolitical Awareness: The ability to analyze economic and geopolitical trends to inform real estate strategy and decision-making.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Korean and English is required.
