A Day in the Life

As a Buyer in our Taipei procurement team, you will drive our sourcing strategy within the Business Service domain. You will be a key partner to the business, ensuring we achieve optimal value, foster innovation, and uphold our commitment to sustainability. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute category strategies by analyzing business needs, understanding market dynamics, and capturing supplier innovation to drive value. 
• Stakeholder & Supplier Management: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and manage the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, from negotiation and contracting to performance monitoring. 
• Performance & Cost Optimization: Manage KPIs and optimize costs through detailed analysis and effective use of purchasing systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba). You will ensure all sourcing decisions support our financial goals. 
• Operational Excellence: Operate with integrity, ensuring all activities comply with internal controls, legal rules, and sustainable purchasing policies ("Buy less and Buy better").

We Are Looking For

• A solid foundation in indirect purchasing with experience in cost analysis. 
• Stakeholder Management: The ability to communicate effectively and constructively challenge and influence business partners. 
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data to drive decisions, with strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Power BI is a plus. 
• Negotiation & Communication: Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with fluency in both English and Mandarin. 
• Agility & Project Coordination: High learning agility and outstanding self-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
