We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Junior Brand Manager to join our vibrant NYX Professional Makeup team. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring marketing professional to gain invaluable experience in brand management within a fast-paced, digital-first environment, with a strong focus on connecting with a young, digitally-savvy audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consumer & Trend Knowledge (with a Gen Z Lens): Actively monitor beauty market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior, with a specific focus on Generation Z preferences and digital habits, to identify opportunities and challenges for NYX Professional Makeup. Translate insights into actionable recommendations for product launches, marketing campaigns, and communication strategies that resonate with our core audience.
- Brand Strategy Execution: Support the Senior Brand Manager in developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans that drive brand awareness, engagement, and ultimately sales. This includes leading campaign development, media planning, and digital activations, ensuring relevance for the Gen Z demographic.
- Analytical Skills: Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, market shares, and campaign performance to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for optimization. Prepare regular reports and presentations, drawing clear conclusions and suggesting data-driven strategies.
- Product Launches & Portfolio Management: Drive the successful launch of new products, working closely with cross-functional teams including sales, supply chain, and communications. Monitor product performance and contribute to portfolio optimization strategies, keeping Gen Z's evolving desires in mind.
- Complexity Management: Navigate a dynamic and complex market environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Digital & Social Media Engagement: Support the brand's digital strategy, understanding the critical importance of social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram), influencers, and e-commerce in driving brand growth and community engagement specifically within the Gen Z ecosystem.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams (advocacy, category, sales, trade marketing, finance) and external partners (agencies) to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives.
- Passion for Makeup: Bring your genuine love for makeup and the beauty industry to the role, contributing creative ideas and an authentic voice to brand discussions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Min. 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the FMCG or beauty industry.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
- Deep Consumer & Trend Knowledge: A keen interest and understanding of current beauty trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape, with a specific passion for Gen Z behaviors and digital culture within makeup.
- Passion for Makeup: A genuine enthusiasm for makeup, beauty products, and the NYX Professional Makeup brand values.
- Drive & Proactivity: High level of energy, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
- Complexity Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Polish and English (both written and spoken).
- Strong understanding and experience with digital marketing and social media trends, especially those relevant to Gen Z.
