Job Position: Data Driven Experience Manager (Evolved ver of CRM)

"At L'Oréal, Data Driven Experience (DDX) represents an evolution of traditional CRM.

It is the strategic discipline of providing every consumer with the best possible personalized experience across all touchpoints, powered by a robust data foundation.

 

As the DDX Manager within the DDX team,

you will be part of the Japan CDO (Chief Digital Officer) organization — a key Corporate function responsible for leading the group’s digital transformation. In this role, you will be a key driver in operationalizing the DDX vision across the market. Working in close partnership with the Country DDX Director, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and market-wide execution. Your mission will span from accelerating the acquisition and activation of 1P/2P data to scaling best practices across all divisions and optimizing business growth through data-driven insights.

 

In this role, you will act as the ""Guardian"" of DDX governance, ensuring that while we push the boundaries of ""Growth Hacking"" and MarTech innovation, we remain steadfast in data privacy and compliance. We are looking for a resilient, agile leader who can navigate complexity, simplify the chaotic, and empower our brands to deliver exceptional consumer value through the power of data.

 

Key Job Accountabilities 主要職務

1. Strategic Implementation:  

In close partnership with the Country DDX Director, implement and operationalize the country DDX strategic framework, focusing on 1P/2P data acquisition and executing a collaborative roadmap across all divisions.

 

2. Business Excellence & Optimization: 

Drive the ""Share & Scale"" agenda by consolidating best practices and templatizing high-performing consumer journeys to maximize operational efficiency and business impact.

 

3. Data-Driven Insights & Consumer Excellence: 

Partner with Analytics, CMI, and Brand site teams to centralize/standardize KPIs and translate complex data into actionable ""growth-hacking"" strategies, high-potential audience activation, and optimized consumer journeys.

 

4. Governance & System Guardianship: 

Act as the ""Guardian"" of DDX governance, ensuring data privacy compliance, managing CRM vendor relationships, and overseeing the stable operation of core CRM systems.

 

5. Community Animation & Upskilling:

 Lead and empower the local DDX community by facilitating knowledge exchange and providing upskilling opportunities to drive excellence across the organization.


Must Have Aspects/必須項目                                    

Proven CRM experience within the cosmetics industry or a similar consumer-centric sector.

Operational knowledge of MarTech tools, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), CDP, and LINE ecosystem. 

Strong data literacy with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business strategies.

Exceptional project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Fundamental knowledge of personal information protection and data privacy regulations.

Superior communication and presentation skills to simplify complex issues and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

High resilience and agility to prioritize and drive initiatives forward within a chaotic and fast-paced environment.

Business-level English and Japanese proficiency for effective collaboration in a global matrix organization.

 

Preferred Qualification/希望項目                                

Experience both in on/offline channel CRM

Experience in similar industries to Cosmetic (i.e. FMCG, Luxury, Beverage, Automotive, etc)

Solid stakeholder management skill
