A Day in the Life
As a Finance Management Trainee at L’Oréal Canada, you’ll embark on a 12-month rotational program designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of our financial operations. This role is part of SeedZ, our elite talent development program, designed to accelerate the careers of high-potential new graduates. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll gain exposure to financial planning and analysis (FP&A), capital budgeting, and financial reporting. You’ll also work closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to optimize pricing, product mix, and sales strategies, ensuring maximum profitability.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
• Financial Analysis: Dive into FP&A, capital budgeting, and financial reporting to support decision-making.
• Business Optimization: Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial teams to refine pricing, product mix, and sales strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to understand the broader business impact.
• Learning & Development: Rotate across 1-4 divisions, gaining a holistic view of L’Oréal’s financial ecosystem.
We Are Looking For
You’re a great match if you have:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (ideal for a new graduate).
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (required) for global stakeholder communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaboration and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and SAP (an asset).
