Job Title: Engineer - Processing

What You Will Do: 

  • Effectively manage and implement engineering projects as assigned. Projects will include new product launches, technology advancements, design improvements, equipment modifications, upgrades or replacements, and continuous improvement projects. 

 

  • Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of Processing technology and provide recommendations to management concerning improvements or upgrades in Processing operations.

 

  • Design the layout of manufacturing operations to maximize efficient material flow and optimum application of the technological means of production.
  • Identify, select, cost justify, purchase, install, upgrade, modify, and improve capital equipment used in Processing.
  • Where necessary, design and supervise the building of specialty equipment that will enhance the productivity of Processing operations.
  • Ensure projects meet their full success criteria, including all safety, quality, performance, delivery, and budgetary requirements.
  • Analyze, recommend, and implement activities to maximize productivity and minimize cost by applying technological and labor resources to the manufacturing process.
  • Implement and manage L'Oreal EOS improvement processes, including (KANBAN, SMED, TPM, and ISTRAC)
  • Provide Leadership direction, guidance, and assistance to technical and production personnel.
  • Working with Corporate Industrial Quality and Local Operations, perform upgrades and trials with new and existing formulas.
  • Ensure that technical and production personnel develop and implement appropriate preventive maintenance programs.
  • Supervise the activities of sub-contractors, suppliers, and service personnel.
  • Manage and implement all L'Oreal policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Corporation's Equal Employment Policy, safety, and health procedures, etc.
  • Perform other duties as necessary or required. 

What We Are Looking For: 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a major engineering discipline is required. Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering is preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in advanced manufacturing, equipment design, robotics, applied engineering, and/or automation.

  • Salary Range: $77,775 - $91,500 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
