A Day in the Life
As the E-Commerce & New Markets Manager for L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty in Romania, you will report to the Commercial Director and lead one e-Key Account Manager (e-KAM), while managing directly one important e-com customer in Romania. You'll be instrumental in driving the division's growth across e-com and new channels, building strong relationships with the customers and shaping the future of medical beauty in Romania. This role offers a unique blend of strategic planning, hands-on execution, and team leadership within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be at the forefront of L'Oréal's cutting-edge approach to e-commerce & new markets' strategy, leveraging data to deliver exceptional results.
- Strategic Partnerships & Growth: You will be responsible for the e-Key Accounts & new channels commercial strategy with the objective of maximizing P&L Management and Sell-Out, in a sustainable profitable way. You will build and validate annual plans, JBPs, growth, market share, P&L and lead negotiations for annual agreements with our LDB partners, in line with the 3-year strategic plan, while involving key internal & external stakeholders. You will be responsible for achieving yearly turnover targets for all LDB brands within your assigned accounts.
- Go-to-Market Execution & Activation: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, CMO sub-functions) to define and implement effective Go-to-Market strategies, ensuring seamless execution of trade and media plans. This includes managing product listings, activations, and merchandising to optimize sales performance and brand visibility.
- Data Analysis & Optimization: You will leverage sales data and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth, optimize channel’s performance, and enhance the overall customer experience. You will be responsible for managing the promo budget within the P&L to ensure profitability.
- Relationship Management & Collaboration: You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally (Finance, Business Development, Marketing, Digital, Supply Chain and Customer Service) and externally (e-commerce partners), ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all levels.
We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of e-commerce & offline expertise, analytical skills, and leadership capabilities. They are passionate about the beauty industry and possess a deep understanding of the Romanian market. They are also highly skilled in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- E-commerce Expertise: Minimum 4 years of experience in beauty industry within e-commerce channel - is a must.
- Digital & E-commerce advanced knowledge: Transactional media strong expertise, Search data, conversion, media CTR, etc.
- Shopper centricity: strong knowledge of consumer journeys in online & offline environments, with the ability to design and implement seamless customer journeys
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze sales & CRM data, interpret market trends, and develop data-driven strategies.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive joint business plans, setting clear goals and KPIs. Understanding of P&L & delivering commercial KPIs
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize performance.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively with e-commerce partners to secure favorable agreements.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
