The Mission: Democratize Dermatological Excellence CeraVe’s mission is to provide therapeutic skincare for all, developed with dermatologists. As the Medical Communications Director for the CeraVe DMI (Global Marketing Office), you are the scientific voice of the brand. You will bridge the gap between complex clinical science and meaningful, business-relevant communication.
Your goal is to elevate CeraVe’s medical credibility on a global scale by translating breakthrough research into powerful narratives that resonate with Health Care Professionals (HCPs)—including Dermatologists, General Practitioners, and Pharmacists—and, ultimately, patients worldwide.
What You Will Achieve:
- Scientific Storytelling: You will translate clinical study results and technical innovations from Research & Innovation (R&I) into compelling "valorized" communication that drives HCP recommendation and consumer trust.
- Strategic Medical Direction: Partner with Product Development and R&I from the earliest stages of innovation. You will provide medical business insights to ensure every product launch is grounded in clinical truth and competitive differentiation.
- Content Architecture: Lead the creation of global in-office and omnichannel medical materials (Sales Aids, HCP Leaflets, etc.). You will ensure our messaging is not just scientifically sound, but patient-solution oriented and competitively superior.
- Global Congress Leadership: Imagine and design CeraVe’s presence at major global medical congresses. You will be the brand’s scientific ambassador, overseeing symposia, advisory boards, and scientific posters.
- Peer-to-Peer Engagement: Drive the development of medical education webinars, speaker programs, and slide decks. You will manage the writing and submission of scientific publications and posters that solidify CeraVe’s position in the dermatological community.
- Market Empowerment: Act as the strategic guide for CeraVe’s global markets, providing the tools and guidance needed to localize the medical strategy while maintaining a consistent global brand identity.
Who You Are:
- A Scientific Expert: You possess an advanced clinical or science degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) and have 5–10+ years of experience in medical/scientific communications or as a Medical Science Liaison.
- A Creative Communicator: You don't just "report" data; you "translate" it. You have a unique ability to find the business-relevant conclusion in a clinical study.
- A Strategic Thinker: You understand the global competitive landscape and can anticipate the medical communication trends that will drive recommendation share.
- A Collaborative Leader: You thrive in a cross-functional environment, partnering seamlessly with Marketing, R&I, and external medical agencies.
- Agile & Mobile: You are ready to represent CeraVe on the global stage, with the ability to travel (10-15%) for international congresses and HCP engagement.
