About the Role:
L'Oréal Luxe is all about elegance and refinement. Our international skin care, make-up and perfume brand portfolio include beauty brands with some of the most iconic products in the world such as Lancôme, YSL, Kiehl’s & Giorgio Armani amongst many others.
- Champion our luxury beauty brands by providing top-tier customer service and expert product knowledge across skincare, makeup, and fragrance.
- Coach and mentor Beauty Advisors, fostering a collaborative learning environment and sharing best practices to elevate their skills and brand expertise.
- Implement and train on cutting-edge beauty technology services, enhancing the customer experience and driving sales.
- Partner with the Retail & Education team to onboard and engage new BAs, ensuring their success within the team.
- Lead and execute impactful events in key stores, driving sales, brand loyalty, and exceptional customer service, while empowering BAs in other locations to manage their own events.
- Continuously develop personal expertise in beauty industry trends, product knowledge, and educational techniques.
About You:
- A passion for luxury beauty with strong knowledge across skincare, makeup, and fragrance categories.
- Both theoretical and practical experience in both Make Up & Skincare (Facials) preferred.
- Proven retail sales experience and a genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer service, ideally with a minimum of 5 years experience in beauty retail
- Excellent communication and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities, thriving in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Proactive and results-oriented, with a talent for driving sales and achieving targets.
- A collaborative team player who embraces new technologies and industry trends, continuously developing skills and expertise.
- Experience in event planning and execution is a plus.
Please note this role is an 8-month (February to end September) fixed term, part time position working 3 days per week (24 hours) on a Thursday – Saturday roster. Flexibility to work alternate/extra days including Sunday where required for events/activations. The role is Auckland based, working across different retailers across the city. Our Beauty Advisor and Retail Specialists also travel frequently across New Zealand to support our teams and activate events so the ability to travel frequently is required.
