A Day in the Life
As the CRM Data Lead for North Asia and SAPMENA, you’ll report to the CRM Data Manager and play a pivotal role in defining and implementing our customer data strategy. You’ll collaborate with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, governance, and scalability, while driving innovation in CRM data management.

Responsibilities:

  • CRM Data Strategy:
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive CRM data strategy for North Asia and SAPMENA, aligning with global data governance standards and regional business needs.
    • Collaborate with IT leadership to define strategic goals for CRM data utilization, focusing on technical scalability, system integration, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Data Architecture and Modeling: 
    • Define and implement the optimal data architecture and data models within our CRM systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity.
    • Define data models that optimize storage, retrieval, and processing efficiency across CRM systems, leveraging modern data warehousing techniques.
    • Document technical specifications for data architecture, including entity relationships, data flows, APIs, and integration points with external systems.
    • Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure) for CRM data storage, processing, and analytics, ensuring scalability and compliance with IT standards
  • Data Governance: 
    • Collaborate closely with the data governance and analytics teams to ensure compliance with data policies, standards, and best practices. Contribute to the development and refinement of data governance frameworks.
    • Implement robust access control mechanisms, encryption protocols, and audit trails to ensure secure handling of CRM data.
    • Develop automated workflows for enforcing data governance policies and ensuring consistent application across CRM systems.
  • Data Quality Management: 
    • Implement and oversee data quality processes, including data cleansing, validation, and enrichment, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our CRM data.
    • Develop scripts and workflows to monitor data quality metrics (e.g., completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency) and generate real-time alerts for anomalies.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage data-focused projects within the CRM domain, ensuring timely and successful delivery of project objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: 
    • Liaise with key stakeholders across different business functions and IT teams to gather requirements, address data-related challenges, and ensure alignment on data initiatives.
  • Innovation and Best Practices:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in CRM data management and data governance, and recommend innovative solutions to improve data utilization and insights.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 5+ years in CRM data management, data governance, or a related field, including experience managing a team.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling techniques, and data integration methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management
  • Proficiency in GCP (dataflow / dataform / apache beam)
  • Experience with data visualization toll (e.g., Power BI, Table, …)
  • Knowledge of APIs and system integration
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript is a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is highly desirable.
