B2B E-Commerce Product Owner
At L’Oréal’s Professional Products Division (PPD), our mission is to support hair professionals with the best products and innovative services. We are looking for a B2B E-Commerce Product Owner to drive the evolution of our digital ecosystem.
In this role, you will be the bridge between business needs and technical excellence, ensuring a seamless experience for our B2B customers—ranging from independent hairstylists and high-end salons to large-scale wholesalers in the professional hair industry.
Your Mission
You will own and evolve our two primary B2B platforms:
- L’Oréal Partner Shop: Our dedicated B2B e-commerce webshop where hair professionals discover and order our iconic brands.
- Kepler: Our advanced sales ordering system that will be launched in Q3 to serve as the backbone for our commercial operations and order management.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Ownership & Strategy: Own the features and functionalities backlog. You will translate business requirements into a prioritized roadmap, collaborating closely with global IT and digital teams.
- Release Validation & UAT Governance: Lead the technical validation for platform releases. You are responsible for defining test scenarios, executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and providing the final "Go/No-Go" recommendation for the Benelux market.
- Site Configuration & UX: Manage site preferences that govern storefront behavior, including checkout rules, shipping/payment options, pricing logic, and search navigation to enhance the user experience.
- Technical Performance Optimization: Monitor platform reliability, including page speed, uptime, and API stability. Use data insights to identify friction points and brief global teams on necessary improvements.
- Incident & Demand Management: Act as the key point of contact for technical incidents. Capture business impact, coordinate resolutions with Global IT, and validate fixes for both Kepler and the L’Oréal Partner Shop.
- External Partner Governance: Manage relationships with external tech partners to enable and implement new features.
Who You Are
- Customer-Centric: You are passionate about the customer journey and use data to maximize conversion and improve the stylist’s shopping experience.
- A Technical & Commercial Hybrid: You possess a sharp understanding of e-commerce business drivers combined with the technical rigor to manage complex workflows and data infrastructures.
- A Proven Leader: You are comfortable leading through influence and taking full accountability for critical platform decisions.
- A Collaborative Influencer: You excel at navigating complex organizations, working seamlessly across Supply Chain, Marketing, Commercial, and IT teams.
Professional Requirements
- Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar digital/e-commerce role.
- Strong understanding of UAT processes and backlog management.
- Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Dutch or French is preferred.
- Master’s degree from an academic university
- Work permit to live and work in the Netherlands
