What You Will Learn: As the Assistant Manager - Sales Admin you will manage data integrity in the APEX Trade Promotion System by tracking promotional events through pricing validation, item and forecast accuracy and ensuring alignment with brand and customer strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Divisional Strategy & Liability Management (CPD):

  • Analyze obsolete inventory to determine division and brand markdown and return liability. Evaluate the P&L impact for past, current, and future seasons.
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to ensure correct retailer strategies, including markdown/return assumptions and account-specific deletions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance to ensure APEX promotions are configured with the correct tactics and product mixes.
  • Execute EDLP and TPR On-Invoice (OI) entries in APEX for Thayer’s, Soft-Sheen Carson, and Essie PRO, while providing oversight for all CPD brands.

2. Master Data & System Governance (CPD / NYX / Thayer’s / Soft-Sheen Carson):

  • Coordinate with Sales, PEP, and PIM to ensure Bills of Materials (BOMs) feature accurate components and pricing.
  • Proactively resolve data quality issues, including missing UPCs, incorrect proxy assignments, and Product Group/Cluster maintenance to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Investigate Master Data and pricing discrepancies; align with IT, Assembly, and PIM to resolve issues while adhering to internal controls.
  • Manage unique pricing groups for Thayers and SSC, verifying field accuracy for retailer-specific setups.

3. Luxe Division Operations (LDB):

  • Collaborate with IT and Finance to develop the LDB APEX Financial Close Calendar, ensuring alignment with monthly timelines and avoiding divisional overlaps.
  • Lead communication regarding monthly financial locks to ensure field documentation is updated for accurate corporate reporting.
  • Investigate and resolve NCH coupons and other retailer-specific promotions.
  • Maintain updated event approvers and account assignments based on current LDB organizational shifts.

4. Training & Continuous Improvement:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) to train new Sales, Marketing, and Finance users on the APEX system.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data flow between cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Marketing, Finance).


What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales Administration, Sales Support, Finance, or Sales Operations, preferably within the CPG industry.
  • MS Office software experience to include Excel formulas.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into financial impacts.
  • Exceptional accuracy in attention to detail, data entry and master data management.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional partners and the field sales team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across different brands (NYX, Essie, LDB, etc.) with varying business rules.
  • Experience in B2B sales environments preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US on an ongoing and permanent basis without assistance.
