We have a suitable opportunity for the position of Assistant Manager – Sales Planning for CPD - East. This is a role where one has to do analysis of market trends, business performance and its levers and make recommendations. Applicants with experience in FMCG would be preferred.

The candidate should have 6 – 8 years of relevant experience in FMCG business in Sales and Sales Planning. The location of the job will be Kolkata.

The details of the same are given below:

Key Deliverables:

Business management

  • Prepare and analyze AOP / Monthly Target
  • Help analyze the efficacy of customized input/activation if any which acts as a feed-forward for future reference

Loyalty Program management

  • Design the targets in lines with HO ambition and regional perspectives
  • Track the brand wise performance across the loyalty program stores at regular intervals.
  • Ensure hygiene in the program outlets and highlight anomalies
  • Ensure all the region DEDs are raised accurately on time 
  • All payout files for loyalty programs & activations to be closed from the region in N+1 month
  • Estimate budgets for post period, shares payout files with the channel managers as well as sales team

Trade Spend Management

  • Ensure budget allocations are rightsized at the distributor point
  • Compiles & tracks additional budget requirements basis brand wise estimates 
  • Share Trade scheme/activations utilization reports with the team
  • Help create scheme constructs for region proposals
  • Coordinates with RC team for schemes & budget uploads

Forecasting

  • Assist the region to prepare the BPP file in coordination with the sales team as well as supply chain
  • Compare the BPP with the HO target received and share a variance report
  • Promo allocation management for the month, share old promo utilization report

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with all regional teams and support in driving business

Capability tools implementation

  • Lead new tech interventions in alignment with HO team and implementation in the region 

Professional Competencies:

  • Business understanding and ways of working
  • Analytical skills to do gap / opportunity analysis (category-wise)
  • Social and presentation skills, proficient in excel 
  • Sensitivity to beauty

Qualification:

  • MBA
