A Day in the Life

As a Retail Project Specialist for Maybelline New York, you will report to the Retail Project Manager within a dynamic team of seven. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn from marketing, sales, and logistics experts, helping you grow through exciting promotional activation projects. You will be instrumental in driving sales growth by optimizing our in-store presence.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Project Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of "prepack" promotional displays, from concept to delivery, ensuring they align with brand strategies and market needs.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with purchasing, sourcing, and logistics teams on material procurement, order management, and forecasting to ensure timely execution.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the key link between marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure a timely and impactful in-store presence for our promotions.
• Budget & Analysis: Manage the budget for your assigned projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness. You will also collaborate on ROI analysis to measure performance and optimize future activations.

• Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Systems Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Excel. Familiarity with systems like NEO, Cosmo, or Wrike is a plus.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. English is required for communication with teams across Canada.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in all aspects of project creation and management.
• Problem-Solving: The ability to proactively identify and resolve challenges to ensure smooth project execution.
