Business Relationship Manager (BRM) Finance & Corporatif (L’Oréal for the future, Diversité & Inclusion, Communications, HR, Légal) Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
As a Business Relationship Manager, you will ensure seamless integration and strategic alignment between IT and our Finance and Corporate functions through the following key responsibilities:
- Strategic Alignment & Demand Management:
- Understand the strategies, objectives, and challenges of the Finance, L'Oréal for the Future, Legal, Data, Communications, and HR departments.
- Engage business and IT leaders to define and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with the overall business vision and key strategies.
- Co-own, with Business Process Owners, the global IT/business governance for the domain.
- Act as a proactive business partner, articulating and clarifying needs, and evaluating demands to ensure alignment with defined strategy.
- Shape demand by developing business cases, identifying products/services, and actively planning IT investments to ensure value creation.
- IT Roadmap:
- Ensure end-to-end vision and integration of processes and capabilities within the domain, aligning with overall Application Strategy.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies, evaluating their business value and driving the adoption of internal/external best practices and innovation opportunities.
- Performance & Communication:
- Provide input to product managers on business needs, prioritization, and roadmapping for corporate IT services.
- Market and communicate effectively the IT services available to business constituents and teams within Finance and Corporate.
- Oversee solution delivery across its lifecycle, proactively managing business expectations, monitoring customer satisfaction, and communicating service performance as per SLAs.
Your Profile:

- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of business processes relevant to Finance (e.g., accounting, financial planning, reporting) and Corporate functions (e.g., HR, Legal, Communications, Data Management) is an asset.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical spirit with the capacity to quickly find effective solutions to complex problems and effectively manage complexity.
- Innovation & Entrepreneurship: Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking, propose new ideas, and solutions, while maintaining a pragmatic eye.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent ability to communicate complex messages, influence others, negotiate effectively, and drive consensus.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Ability to mobilize and collaborate with various departments, fostering collaborative working relationships within diverse teams and cultures.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of L'Oréal's overall business strategy, long-term user/customer needs, and the ability to translate these into IT Strategy.
- Technology & Systems Knowledge: Strong knowledge of key existing IT applications and infrastructure components, as well as the IT portfolio and its roadmaps.
- Change Management: Ability to lead change in a business on IT, considering structural and cultural issues, monitoring impact, and taking remedial actions.
