A Day in the Life As a Retail Category Analyst within our Consumer Products Division, you will be instrumental in shaping our presence in the Canadian market. Reporting to the Category Leader, you will develop and execute tailored O+O (Online + Offline) category growth strategies for our key retail partners. You'll join a collaborative Category Business Development team and work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Consumer & Market Intelligence to turn shopper insights into impactful business growth. This role offers high visibility and the autonomy to drive innovation and elevate our retail experience.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop Customer Category Strategy: Translate the O+O category growth vision into specific customer action plans and build strong partnerships.
  • Become the Shopper Expert: Act as the internal O+O expert by identifying and sharing current and upcoming shopper trends and insights to guide strategy.
  • Drive In-Store Excellence: Optimize our in-store fundamentals, including share of space, assortment, and planograms to create the perfect sequence for shoppers.
  • Lead Project Execution: Collaborate with transversal teams to plan and execute customer-specific projects, such as "Look & Feel" initiatives for retail elevation.

We Are Looking For We are looking for a candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong analytical mindset to join our team. You are a data storyteller, able to transform complex shopper insights into compelling business cases that drive action. You thrive in a dynamic environment and have a solid understanding of the integrated shopper journey across both physical and digital touchpoints.

More specifically, you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related business field 
  • Initial experience in a similar role; a specialization in Business Development and Category Activation is an asset.
  • Strategic Category Management expertise.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in both English and French for communications with local and global teams
