MARKETING MANAGER – DPP PULP RIOT

A Day in the Life

As the Marketing Manager  for Pulp Riot, you will be the driving force behind the brand's growth and vision in the Canadian market. You’ll immerse yourself in a brand known for its unapologetic artistry and deep connection to the professional hairstylist community, leading all strategic and operational aspects to new heights. Working on the #1 VIVID COLOUR BRAND IN CANADA, you will be able to develop skills that will help catapult you in the world of the Professional Products Division:

  • Brand Strategy & Growth: You will define the local brand strategy, manage the P&L, and identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth and strengthen brand presence – you will have full ownership to identify
  • Brand Champion: You will get a unique opportunity to co-lead the brand’s strategy in Canada alongside the Marketing Director, and it will be your responsibility to identify the areas of growth on the business, which could be one of the following (or more!) – new customer acquisition / salon conquesting, rebuilding the business in existing salons, and more – and identifying where we should be investing the brand’s dollars to grow (e.g., loyalty programs, merchandising, education support, etc.)
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: You will collaborate closely with Sales, Education, and Operations teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution, perfect launches, and drive commercial success. In this role, you will get the one-of-a-kind experience that is ONLY UNIQUE TO THIS MARKETING ROLE IN PPD – managing the chiffre of the brand and working very closely with the Trade Marketing Manager to ensure all clients and distributors are delivering on their annual sales / growth plans
  • Operational Marketing Expertise: You will be at the center of all operational execution and excellence on this brand – from product pricing, merchandising artwork, ensuring the correct forecast is placed on all products to ensure best-in-class service levels in Canada, and more. This is a perfect role to refine the operational skills that are quintessential to being a successful marketer in DPP/PPD CANADA.
  • Community & Influence: You will connect deeply with the professional hairstylist community, building strong relationships with artists and influencers to fuel brand advocacy and co-create authentic content.
