About the job
As KAM Drug NL O+O you will be part of the Mass Trade team, a highly dynamic and strong performing team with huge growth ambition. You will report to the Head of Mass Trade, who reports to the Commercial Director of the division. Together with the full team you will be dedicated to accelerating our business by building and leveraging strong internal and external collaborations.
As a Key Account Manager (KAM) at L’Oréal, you'll invest in the relationship with our retailers and be responsible for the long-term strategy to increase the presence, visibility, and results of our appealing brands. The position is both strategic and hands-on: together with your counterparts at the retailer's headquarters, you'll make a difference in assortment selection, promotion and event strategy, and look for ways to achieve growth together. All of this contributes to our brands holding a top position at our retailers. At the same time, you'll ensure that agreements made with retailers are adhered to, oversee the logistics process, and bear final responsibility for contracts and the internal customer P&L. To succeed at this position, we are looking for a colleague who gets energy from building relationships, knows how to manage stakeholders internal (marketing, business development, supply chain, finance) and externally (stakeholders at retailer), is entrepreneurial and want to improve the business with a data driven and RGM mindset. You will be the main KAM to drive the acceleration of the Dutch access strategy. As a person you need to be pro-active and control your own business, but on the other hand also play a part in our team. In your daily job you need to be analytical strong, but pragmatic when the situation requires.
Your responsibilities are:
- Contributing to the division and team ‘s business vision by sharing account perspectives and opportunities in-line with this vision
- Stakeholder management on a daily business withretaileras well as internal (marketing, business development, finance, supply chain)
- P&Lresponsiblefor yourclient portfolio, meaning youoverseeyour investments in promotions and retailer investments such as media,based on data/RGM.
- Create a strategic (year) account plan for theretailerbased on the priorities from a brand and category point of view, as well as the customer’s focus points
- Accurate forecasting and alignment with supply chain
- Negotiations for yourclientsoncustomer investments and create compelling sales story for your launch- and activation plans.
Our ideal candidate has or is:
- 5+years of commercial experience
- Masterdegree
- Stronginfluencer, stakeholder management
- Analytical skills, to make decisions based on data
- Fluent in Dutch & English (must)
