A Day in the Life
As a Junior Key Account Manager for the Consumer Products Division (CPD) in Romania, you will be at the forefront of shaping how our brands connect with consumers through strategic partnerships with key retailers. This role is about more than just sales; it’s about building strong, collaborative relationships, creating impactful business plans, and driving mutual growth. Reporting to Channel Leader Food and with the coordination of the Key Account Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work cross-functionally and make a tangible impact on the success of our brands:
- Sales & Market Share Growth:
- Drive sales and market share gain through effective management of allocated customers.
- Accurately forecast and achieve account results, including sell-in, sell-out, and market share growth.
- Key contributor to strategies aiming to increase the distribution of CPD products in collaboration with the Category Development Leaders.
- Design (with support from Manager and coordinator) and implement the annual business plan through management of investment and initiatives axes (commercial agreements, marketing and trade marketing actions and immediate retail opportunities).
- Constant monitoring the account's performance against business plan with sharing (internally & externally) the watch out points when in need of adjustments.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Act as the expert for your account(s), building deep customer intelligence and strong networks with key stakeholders at the retailer’s organization.
- Create and implement annual business plans, leveraging all growth drivers such as commercial agreements, marketing and trade actions, and retail opportunities.
- Collaboration & Alignment:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Customer Service, CatMan, Finance, Trade Marketing, Marketing, and Digital) to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.
- Connect account stakeholders with their L’Oréal counterparts to strengthen relationships and drive alignment.
- Performance Monitoring & Analytics:
- Monitor account performance against business plans, using data and analytics to track results and develop alternative approaches when needed.
- Provide consistent operational support across retailer’ perimeter, reporting and insights to ensure business objectives are met.
We Are Looking For
We are seeking a result-driven individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to make an impact. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of analytical thinking, strong relationship-building skills, and a built track record in sales. We're looking for someone who demonstrates:
- Proven Sales Expertise: Experienced in FMCG sales, with a good level in sales fundamentals and selling techniques. You have a solid understanding of the business environment and know how to deliver on commercial KPIs. Experience in e-commerce is a plus.
- Strategic & Analytical Mindset: You possess analytical abilities and are keen to drive mutual growth. You have a retailer-centric approach in planning the business through internal & external initiatives.
- Collaborative Spirit: You excel at building and nurturing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Your strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills allow you to work effectively in a close-knit team environment.
- Proactive & Organized: With a professional "get it done" attitude, you are structured, disciplined, agile and have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Educational Background & Languages: You hold a university degree (preferably in Economics or a Technical field) and are fluent in both Romanian and English (written and spoken).
