A Day in the Life

As a Scientific Communications & Data Science Intern, you will join our Research & Innovation team in Mumbai. You will play a key role in building the team's data capabilities by developing tools and workflows that enable efficient literature mining, synthesis, and communication of scientific insights, helping to accelerate how science is communicated across L'Oréal.

You will be responsible for:

• Scientific Intelligence: Synthesize complex scientific information on key innovation territories, creating digests of available information to identify knowledge gaps and potential research areas.
• Content Creation: Collaborate with internal teams to draft scientific summaries and develop digital tools and visualizations, ensuring accuracy and clarity for diverse audiences.
• Event Strategy: Assist in the planning of our R&I presence at dermatology events and congresses, including the post-event amplification of activities.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate logistics and prepare materials to ensure the smooth execution of team projects and events.
  
  

We Are Looking For

You are the ideal candidate if you combine a scientific mindset with strong data skills. We are looking for someone with an ability to work collaboratively and a creative approach to problem-solving.

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics. A background in Life Sciences is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in data mining, data structurization, and analysis using tools like Python and R.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
• A detail-oriented and logical approach to solving business problems.
