A Day in the Life

As the E-commerce Manager for Aesop, you will be a critical driver of our digital success in Australia & New Zealand. Reporting to the Head of Online, you will steer the performance of Aesop’s direct-to-consumer website, ensuring a seamless and premium online customer experience that achieves commercial targets.
Please note, this is a 6-month fixed term contract.
Your daily landscape will include:
- Drive E-commerce Strategy: You will monitor and analyse sales performance across our e-boutique, leading the development and execution of the online trade calendar, and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer journey from landing page to checkout.
- Optimise Online Operations: You will take charge of crucial operational aspects, including inventory management, trade planning, forecasting for peak periods, and identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Online UX & UI Ownership: Serve as the end-to-end owner of the online user experience and interface, leading the end-to-end execution of project rollouts from a brand perspective. This includes defining roadmap features, developing robust business cases, and overseeing the successful deployment of new site functionalities.
- Collaborate for Success: You will work closely with internal teams like global zone & local stakeholders, operations, and external partners to deliver a unique and cohesive online experience for Aesop customers.

- A thoughtful strategist with a demonstrated fluency in analytics, able to discern trends and nuance within data to inform and refine commercial strategy.

- A custodian of the brand’s digital presence, with experience orchestrating online trade calendars and merchandising with an approach that is both commercially effective and aesthetically considered.
- An individual with a firm grasp of financial principles, capable of managing budgets and forecasting with prudence and foresight.
- An adept communicator, skilled in building and fostering strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration.
