KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the category growth thru developing the strategy and E2E deployment of O2O activations, targeting on the focus strategic products/ channels/ regions which are driven by understanding and addressing market and consumer trends, shopper behaviors & retailers externally and also in line with internal brand & channel strategy.
Category Management
- Lead the category strategy and planning, range reviews, new product development ranging and space/range optimization along with providing recommendations on promotional guidelines and retailer specific strategies.
- Build the category activity plan in year and future planning in close cooperation with commercial, marketing team. Translate the brand ambitions and ATL plans in to on-ground timings and activity.
- Take full responsibility of channel promotion/ activation plans while giving recommendations to KAM for customized promotion plan by customers in parallel to ensure the integrated strong effective activation calendar/ plan to drive valorized category growth
- Closely cooperate with Business Planning manager & KAM to do forecasting & full responsibility for monthly sales delivery of the category
- Lead the strategy & deployment, post evaluation of retail instore visibility/ Plan-o-gram by understanding customer characteristics & consumer journey with top doors focus.
- Lead the whole process execution plan of new launch/ thematic campaigns successful via closely cooperating with Kam, Marketing & Trade team with evolving in planning to build strong plan & closely follow up deployment & proper post evaluation.
- Participate in building Top2Top, JBP meeting, Monthly Account planning by giving insight of market, shopper & customer to drive right winning strategy.
- Manage part of A&P budget effectively via ensuring the investment responds to brand and business objectives to deliver top line growth
- Any other delegated by line manager to deliver business objectives
KEY REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCES
- Min. 4 years of experience in Category management, Planning, Retail/Channel development in FMCG, esp. Beauty Categories are a strong plus
- Strategic thinking, strong data analytical & data-driven business decision
- Strong Commercial and Entrepreneurship mindset, result-oriented & solution driven, act with urgency
- Growth mindset, agility and open to go extra miles
- Good communication & Negotiation skills
- Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, able to work effectively under pressure
- Able to work both individual work & teamwork, esp. across functions. Experienced & strong in managing key senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Advanced level of MS Office Applications, power BI
