Job Summary
Assistant Manager, Digital Education will execute all aspects of digital education and work with brands to bring digital events to life. The Assistant Manager with work closely with the Senior Manager to support digital innovations. Cross functional collaboration, communication, and a data first mindset will be critical to success in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with assigned brands to create multiple digital events from start to finish, including Zoom production of the event.
- Obtain and track all information needed to launch a class; descriptions, formats, outlines, educator bios, etc.
- Execute and maintain all Digital class bookings in Salesforce to ensure timely execution and high data quality.
- Remain at the forefront of Digital Innovation to streamline ways of working and the customer experience in partnership with the Assistant Manager, Education Technology.
- Maintain Master Calendar; track all event deadlines, ensure everything is on-time and on-task, report on bookings, attendance, sell outs and cancellations and communicate updates regularly to all key stakeholders (both internal and external)
- Assist Senior Manager in creating, maintaining and reviewing budgets for class/events.
- Reconcile all artist expense reports; process invoices and coordinate accruals with Finance for manufacturer reimbursement tracking.
- Communicate with Product Fulfillment Coordinator to coordinate all store and event education logistics; sign-in sheets, class supply and product deliveries and pick-ups, call tags and equipment.
- Coordinate Continuing Education hour sign-in forms where applicable.
- Attend occasional education events and tradeshows as needed (minimal travel required)
- Participate in education planning meetings as needed.
- Additional duties as required or assigned by Education Leadership
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Education or GED required
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience; beauty industry experience preferred but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including both speaking/presenting and listening.
- Highly proficient in Zoom and Zoom production, or other digital platforms
- Strong computer skills, including MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint required
- Salesforce and SAP experience preferred
- Able to prioritize and manage time effectively, and to balance competing demands and priorities in a very fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and sound judgment in dealing with senior managers; effectively builds relationships and resources at all levels of the organization.
- High attention to detail; ability to produce highly accurate documents and work products in a demanding environment; takes pride in their work.
- Highly proactive; takes initiative to begin and complete projects; masterful at follow-up and tracking work projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to sit and use normal office equipment (phone, computer etc.) more than 90% of the day.
- Attend occasional trade shows and work weekends as necessary based on business needs.
