Job Title: Accounts Receivable Analyst

The Opportunity: 

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team, focusing on enhancing Invoice to Cash processes through both B2B and D2C (e-commerce) accounts receivable support. This fast-paced role demands critical thinking, strong communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to support L'Oréal USA's portfolio. You will be instrumental in effective A/R posting, clearing, eCommerce reconciliations, and resolving payment discrepancies, all while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. 

Key Responsibilities:  

B2B Accounts Receivable (approx. 65% of role):  

  • Process B2B wholesale payments (ACH/wire, checks) in accordance with department and organizational standards.
  • Manage daily payment postings within automated systems and ERP (SAP), handling complexities like discounts, deductions, and chargebacks.
  • Investigate and resolve payment exceptions, ensuring SAP posting accuracy.
  • Participate in I2C (Invoice to Cash) operation meetings, collaborating with internal and external partners to identify and implement efficiency improvements and reduce manual work.
  • Provide proactive risk information and support action items to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with Credit and Deduction Resolution teams to improve coding and reduce application complexities.
  • Support AR-related advice and problem resolution, including work related to the integration of acquisitions.

D2C/E-commerce Accounts Receivable (approx. 35% of role): 

  • Support e-commerce automation projects, streamlining processes in 3rd-party cloud-based solutions to drive efficiencies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to address and resolve outstanding e-commerce issues.
  • Contribute to collaborative initiatives aimed at identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures to improve I2C metrics.
  • Update key metrics and publish monthly reports for the I2C Team.
  • Support SAP S4 readiness objectives.

What We Are Looking For: 

  • Education:
  • College degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years of related work experience, preferably in a consumer product-related corporate environment.
  • Firm understanding of SAP A/R postings with experience processing high volumes of payments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with robotic process automation (e.g., High Radius) or similar cloud-based solutions for Invoice to Cash is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP S4 integration is desirable but not required.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally and communicate effectively with Finance and IT.
  • Proven organizational and strategic planning skills, with strong decision-making abilities.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
