In partnership with the laboratories, our Evaluation Intelligence department's mission is:

  • To ensure the perceived performance, relevance, and coherence of new beauty experiences for our consumers,
  • And also to identify and validate the claims that will enhance the value of the group's future launches and renovations.

 

We work for all Cosmetics categories (skincare, makeup, hygiene) and all the Group's brands.

As Clinical & Physics Evaluation Senior Study Manager for Suncare, you will play a crucial role in promoting our Skincare innovations. Working in close collaboration with the Group’s laboratories and brands, you will lead clinical and instrumental studies to substantiate the efficacy of tomorrow's products. Your expertise will contribute directly to building robust performance dossiers, supporting product launches and the influence of our brands.

 

Your main responsibilities are:

 

  • Clinical and Instrumental Study Design & Management: Designing and leading rigorous clinical and instrumental studies to evaluate the efficacy of our concepts, technologies, and formulas, while ensuring compliance with quality standards, deadlines, and budgets. From prototype selection to the creation of high-impact claims, your objective data analysis will be essential.

 

  • Ethics and Compliance: Ensuring that all studies are conducted in accordance with international and local regulations, ethical standards for clinical trials (GCP, ICH principles), and L'Oréal's internal procedures.

 

  • Operational Management: Supervising the entire study process—from CRO selection and protocol definition to planning, monitoring execution, and disseminating results—ensuring their reliability and robustness.

 

  • Expertise and Innovation: Maintaining a constant technological watch in your field, identifying new trends, and proposing innovative protocols and methods. Sharing your expertise and contributing to knowledge development within the Evaluation Intelligence team. You will inspire and guide the team toward the innovative use of digitized data, transforming upstream analysis and results presentation into an unparalleled source of insights.

  • Cross-functional Project Management: Participating in cross-functional projects within Evaluation Intelligence, ensuring the synergy and transfer of methods, protocols, and expertise across your entity. You will be a key driver in process optimization and simplification, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our working methods.

 

Your assets for success:

 

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Engineering, Pharmacy, or an equivalent scientific field.

 

  • 5 years of successful experience in clinical studies, ideally within the cosmetics industry.

 

  • Excellent understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), clinical trial methodology, and relevant regulatory requirements.

 

  • Proficiency in statistical methods and the ability to interpret complex data.

 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate your ideas clearly.

 

  • Proven ability to take initiative, stand by your convictions, and build consensus around your projects.

 

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

 

  • A desire to learn, discover, and contribute to the advancement of cosmetic science.

  • Ability to work independently and identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Fluent in English.
