In partnership with the laboratories, our Evaluation Intelligence department's mission is:

  • To ensure the perceived performance, relevance, and coherence of new beauty experiences for our consumers,
  • And also to identify and validate the claims that will enhance the value of the group's future launches and renovations.

 

We work for all Cosmetics categories (skincare, makeup, hygiene) and all the Group's brands.

 

 

Type of contract: 6 months fix-term contract

Location: Chevilly Larue

 

As Clinical & Physics Evaluation Study Manager, you will lead clinical and instrumental studies for the Luxury Skincare category, which will help to objectify the efficacy of tomorrow's products. Your expertise will directly contribute to building robust performance files, supporting product launches and the influence of our brands.

 

Your main responsibilities are:


  • Study Design and Management: Autonomously design, coordinate, and implement rigorous clinical and instrumental studies to evaluate the effectiveness of our concepts, technologies, and formulas, while respecting quality standards, deadlines, and budgets. From prototype selection to the development of impactful claims, your objective data analysis will be essential.
     
  • Ethics and Compliance: Ensure that studies are conducted in compliance with international and local regulations, ethical standards for clinical studies (GCP, ICH principles), and L'Oréal's internal procedures.
     
  • Operational Management: Supervise the entire study process, from CRO selection, protocol definition, planning, monitoring of execution, and dissemination of results, for which you must guarantee reliability and robustness.
     
  • Collaboration and Influence: Work closely with internal laboratories and partners. Your ability to communicate effectively and persuasively will be essential to share your analyses and recommendations. You will also contribute to the development of new impactful claims, in collaboration with regulatory and product communication teams.
     
  • Expertise and Innovation: Maintain constant technological awareness in your field, identify new trends, and propose innovative protocols and methods. Share your expertise and contribute to the development of knowledge within the Evaluation Intelligence team.
     
  • Transversal Project Management: Integrate transversal projects within Evaluation Intelligence, ensuring transversality and the transfer of methods, protocols, and expertise within your entity.


 

Your assets for success:

 

  • Scientific degree (Master's level or equivalent - Engineer, Pharmacist, etc.)
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in clinical research and clinical studies, ideally in the cosmetics industry
  • Analytical and statistical skills: Mastery of statistical methods and ability to interpret complex data
  • Strong collaborative spirit and leadership, to create buy-in, lead projects and involve different teams/expertise around a common objective
  • Rigor and organization: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Intellectual curiosity and innovation: Desire to learn, discover, and contribute to the advancement of cosmetic science
  • Autonomy and proactivity: Ability to work independently and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Teamwork and communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate your ideas clearly
  • Fluent English
