In the department of Skin DA R&I
We are looking for a Scientific Leader for our Skin DA Team based in Mumbai
This leader will….
- Lead formulation projects of innovation with dedicated resources, ensuring compliance with deadlines and costs.
- Supervise a portfolio of projects within its area of activity and ensure the transfer of technologies and product innovation to Development through biseau mode.
- Clarify consumer and market needs with the Innovation Department and identify technologies to meet expectations (competitive analysis, patent watch, scientific documentation through monitoring, internal and external network).
- Identify technologies through monitoring the industrial and academic worlds, and define with the team the new knowledge, techniques, and tools to acquire and/or develop.
- Ensure industrial protection of discoveries and analyze the patent portfolio of its activity.
- Act as an expert within L'Oréal and externally in their field of activity.
- Anticipate the scientific valorization of projects with partners from Evaluation Intelligence and Scientific Valorization (patents, scientific publications, demos, etc.).
- Develop synergies, ensure transversality between different entities, and contribute to the management of cross-functional innovation projects.
- Contribute to the recruitment, development, and management of its team; ensure the development of expertise and know-how
To succeed in this position, you have:
- Master's or PhD degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, Chem Engg or a related field.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This opportunity will provide great experience for batch preparation, quality control, data analysis, and an immersive understanding of the chemistry behind L’Oreal’s products.
