I. Main responsibilities, deliverables and contribution of this job to L’Oreal VN

To develop the business through commercial planning, store operation and counter team management:

 

Commercial Planning and Sales Target Delivery:

  • Understand total brand strategy for retail, key business context (opportunities, competitors, etc.) together with a clear customer’s insight.
  • Build strategic partnership with key retailers to get support and grow business topline together.
  • Plan promotion and all instore activities to drive sale target and other required KPIs.
  • Design sale incentives and other rewards to motivate field team to deliver the target.
  • Monitor daily sales number and other retail metrics, identify opportunities to improve and maximize retail performance.

 

Retail Operational Management and Internal collaboration:

  • Key contact point between brand team (Marketing, Education, Visual) as well as other functions (Finance, Supply Chain, CS) and the counter team to ensure consistent communication and execution of all plans in Retail channel.
  • Provide monthly forecast on stock needed and monitor stock movement to maximize sale.
  • Ensure proper counter maintenance and team daily operational checklist.


People Management:

  • Oversee retail population on recruitment (with the help of HR), BA growth, and retention plan.
  • Manage, coach, and motivate Counter Managers.
  • Support Education Manager to identify BA strength/weakness to develop suitable training strategy to improve BA productivity and therefore help deliver total business objectives.


II. Key competencies, background, and experience:

  • Strong analytical skill, data driven and strategic thinking for commercial planning.
  • Strong background in counter team management and people leadership. 
  • Good knowledge and sensitivity to luxury retail industry, preferably from cosmetics background.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
  • Work well under pressure and in collaborating with multiple functions/stakeholders.
