Role Purpose
As the Visual Merchandising (VM) Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end creative execution and operational management of our brand’s physical footprint. You will bridge the gap between creative design and technical execution, ensuring that every touchpoint—from permanent in-store "dress-ups" to high-impact promotional podiums—reflects the brand’s luxury and professional standards. You will lead a dedicated team and manage the full lifecycle of VM projects, from initial 3D sketching to final administrative amortization.
Core Responsibilities
1. Creative Design & Technical Execution
· Develop and oversee 2D and 3D technical drawings and renderings for retail displays using Sketch-Up, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
· Translate global brand guidelines into local retail environments, ensuring "Mass In-Store Dress-Up" and high-profile podium animations are impactful and brand-aligned.
· Oversee graphic design requirements (as needed) to support display aesthetics.
· Apply deep knowledge of Beauty Industry VM trends to enhance consumer journey and product story-telling.
2. End-to-End Project & Operational Management
· Manage the full E2E Administration flow, including technical procurement processes such as BAST, Goods Receipt (GR), and tracking asset Amortization.
· Handle the maintenance lifecycle of existing counters to ensure the brand environment remains pristine and functional at all times.
· Prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, moving from conceptualization to installation under tight retail calendars.
3. Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Management
· Lead and mentor the VM team, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
· Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Finance) and external stakeholders (Malls, Retailers, Agencies).
· Master Vendor Negotiation to ensure high-quality production at optimized costs.
· Take full ownership of the VM Budget Management, ensuring all animations and installations stay within financial parameters.
Required Qualifications
Hard Skills:
· Expert Proficiency: Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
· Industry Experience: Proven track record in Beauty Industry Visual Merchandising.
· Technical Scope: Experience in mass-market retail dress-up and large-scale podium/pop-up activations.
· Administrative Flow: Familiarity with corporate procurement tools and accounting logic (BAST, GR, Amortization).
· Maintenance: Experience managing retail repairs and fixture upkeep.
Soft Skills:
· Leadership: Ability to manage a team and drive collective results.
· High Agility: A fast learner who can pivot strategies based on market shifts or feedback.
· Stress Management: Resilience in high-pressure environments, particularly during peak launch seasons or overnight installations.
