Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Aesthetics Training & Education Programs, the Regional Education Specialist is responsible for executing in-office education, hands-on clinical trainings, live and virtual seminars, and other technical and sales-focused education programs as needed. These educational events are designed to enhance the knowledge of our Dermatological Beauty brand portfolio. Primary focus on skinbetter science covering brand protocols, clinical science, technologies, and product

knowledge for our external customers, staff members, and consumers.

 

This position will support the education and training needs of customers across assigned territories, including but not limited to: Authorized Physician Partners (APPs), Corporate Account partners, Key Accounts, high-growth opportunity accounts, prospective accounts, and accounts new to our brands. The Regional Education Specialist will also support Education and Sales programs aligned to brand initiatives.

 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

 

• The Regional Education Specialist represents our brands on a large public

scale — within virtual and social environments, within customer offices, and at industry events. They must possess and exemplify a professional attitude and lead with integrity on all platforms and in all interactions. This position must be able to execute impeccable presentations using aligned brand verbiage and represent all touchpoints consistent with our brands' positioning as leaders in Medical Skincare.

 

Live Seminars

• Facilitates customer-facing seminars for groups of 10–125 people in the field, utilizing brand-provided tools and assets, delivering consistent messaging on topics including but not limited to: product knowledge and technologies, professional protocols, clinical science, integrated skincare, selling techniques, social selling, and hands-on training (chemical peels, dermaplaning, and AlphaRet Professional Peel Systems 30 and 50).

• Actively recruits attendees within the assigned region for seminars utilizing internal and social platforms with brand-provided assets.

• Logs seminar attendance in both Salesforce (CRM) and the Education Dashboard within established timing parameters.

• Collaborates with Area Directors (ADs), and Aesthetic Business Managers (ABMs) to maximize ROI by targeting the right audience based on content to be presented, and by utilizing exclusive seminar promotions aligned with monthly, quarterly, and year-end regional goals.

• Manages all logistics for field-based, in-office seminars within the assigned region — including sourcing locations, contract execution, attendee coordination, gratis management, and final attendee lists — within established event budgets.

 

Virtual Webinars & Specialized Education

• Delivers high-impact, customer-facing virtual seminars and webinars to B2B

customers and APPs (10–125+ participants) utilizing brand-provided tools and assets via Microsoft Teams Premium and Zoom, delivering consistent messaging on topics including: product knowledge and technologies, professional protocols, clinical science, selling techniques, social selling, AlphaRet Professional Peels, and pre-learning courses for hands-on programs.

• Exemplifies brand standards in all virtual settings — including branded

backgrounds, appropriate product positioning, and professional business attire representing our brands in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner.

• Sets up all displays, participant guides/materials, and demonstration products at in-office education events in accordance with leadership directives for consistent content delivery.

• Prepares comprehensive monthly reports including but not limited to a calendar of training activities, budget utilization, feedback summaries, and all required corporate forms (expense reports, etc.) per established timing parameters.

• Logs all virtual participants in Salesforce and/or the Education Dashboard within 5 business days of each event.

• Collaborates with regional sales leaders and ABMs to gain maximum ROI aligned with current product launches and marketing initiatives.

• Regularly attends weekly and quarterly Education Meetings as designated by Education Leadership.

 

In-Office Education & Training

• In collaboration with ADs, RSDs, and ABMs, maintains a consistent and fair call plan/rotation to ensure every territory has equitable and impactful access to the Regional Education & Training Manager.

• Delivers in-office education and hands-on training with APPs, Flagship accounts, Corporate Account partners, SkinLabs, and other high-potential opportunities identified in collaboration with regional leadership.

Optimizes territory time by collaborating with local sales team members to deliver in-office training to prospective accounts, existing high-potential accounts, new accounts meeting minimum qualifiers, and other strategic training requests.

Social Selling & Brand Presence

• Supports in-office selling events (patient events, product launches, holiday events, etc.) as identified by leadership and aligned to the overall social selling initiative.

• Maintains a professional and active social profile on platforms deemed appropriate by leadership; posts regularly on education initiatives, builds the aesthetic community via social platforms, utilizes brand-provided assets, and adheres fully to L'Oréal's social media guidelines.

 

Program Development & Support

• Actively contributes to the development and continuous improvement of training programs, proposing ideas for new product materials, training assets, participant tools, and innovative techniques to meet external customer needs.

• Assists in the research, development, and delivery of new education programs based on needs assessments conducted in the field, including expansion of current programs.

• Maintains awareness of competitors' activities, technologies, and offerings — sharing relevant insights with leadership to help overcome objections and highlight brand differentiation, while maintaining positivity and never disparaging competitive brands in the presence of staff, partners, APPs, or customers.

 

Other Responsibilities

 

• Attends brand tradeshows and major medical/industry meetings as assigned, managing treatment suites where applicable, in collaboration with Medical Affairs and Sales Leadership.

• Maintains clear, consistent, and proactive communication between sales,

education leadership, and customers regarding in-office education and training initiatives.

• Maintains a stocked, clean, and organized detail bag(s), seminar totes, and all necessary education materials (including demo products, iPad, laptop, projector, cords/adapters, slide advancer, updated marketing tools, etc.) to support all technical trainings and seminars.

• Regularly attends training offered through L'Oréal USA (MyLearning) and other learning platforms to continuously broaden scope of expertise.

Required Qualifications

Undergraduate degree (preferred)

• Active license as a Licensed Aesthetician OR Registered Nurse (RN) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) required for this role. Candidates must hold and maintain an active credential throughout employment.

• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on training experience with both small and large groups (10–125+ people) in a variety of settings: in-office, webinar, seminar, and live events

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a treatment room setting, preferably within the medical aesthetics or medical skincare industry

• Working knowledge of chemical peel protocols and application (including

professional-grade systems)

• Demonstrated ability to travel extensively across an assigned multi-state territory; travel is up to 75% of the role

• Ability to lift 40+ pounds independently (suitcase, demo product, projector, and other education materials)

• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, a complex travel calendar, and work independently with minimal supervision

• Timeliness and professionalism in all aspects of the role — arriving to all events fully prepared with all required materials

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Teams Premium; Salesforce.com experience strongly preferred

• Valid US driver's license
