We have a suitable opening in the UP Division for the role of Manufacturing Lead, based in Pune Plant. You come with a relevant experience of 2 to 6 years (Production/Manufacturing/Quality/Projects).  In this role, in accordance with the organisation of the Manufacturing you will ensure its activities in managing operations linked to Co-ordination/ Management/ of orders of Weighing, Washing & Manufacturing in compliance with the objectives and the Group policy.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Help elaborate the vision of Manufacturing within the framework of the 3-year Plan and the budget, deploy this vision on the ground.  
  • Plan the manufacturing activity to best meet the needs of packaging and set individual targets for employees 
  • In agreement with the Production Unit Manager, define and oversee manufacturing improvement plans in line with requirements 
  • Guarantee that resources (staffing, tools, skills, training, etc.) match short and medium-term needs - Optimize allocation of products to manufacturing tools 
  • Oversee the improvement and perpetuation of the manufacturing shop's performance by involving the team members (manufacturing output, losses, water energy, manpower, waste, etc.) 
  • Pass on and enforce, in conjunction with the plants other departments, the industrial policy principles: application of Quality, HSE and EOS systems 
  • Lead and develop a team of manufacturers; develop expertise, know-how and team self-reliance, by accompanying change

Education:

Graduation in Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering; Post Graduate preferred.

Professional Experience: 2-6 years; with relevant Manufacturing / Production experience.

 

Physical Demands (e.g., % travel): Travel might be need based less than 10%
