Job Title: R&I Development Specialist - KIC R&I Development Team (Korea Innovation Center)

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead Research & Innovation (R&I) development projects, leveraging expertise in beauty product technology, project management, and consumer/market insights.
• Manage diverse product development projects, including new and disruptive market innovations, adapting existing technologies to market needs, and short-term, agile animation projects.
• Develop and execute product performance testing plans (in-vitro and in-vivo), ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Lead scientific and technological communication with internal stakeholders (e.g., internal lab, Evaluation/Consumer, Microbiology, Safety Regulatory Compliance (SRC), Patent, Operations, Marketing) and external Original Equipment Manufacturer/Original Design Manufacturer (OEM/ODM) partners.
• Cultivate deep technological understanding and propose a competitive innovation roadmap in collaboration with the brand team.
• Establish strong partnerships with Korean vendors (OEM/ODM) to develop and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Spearhead co-development efforts for safe, effective, and scalable products aligned with the brand/category innovation strategy. Guarantee adherence to launch commitments regarding lead times and costs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetics formulation and skin biology.
• Fluency in English.
• Five years of experience in R&I development within the cosmetics industry is highly preferred.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of cosmetic trends and expertise (Metier).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into accessible marketing language.
