About The Role

As the Head of E-commerce for L'Oréal's Consumer Products Division in Vietnam, you will spearhead our digital growth strategy in a market where e-commerce is essential to our success. You are a data-driven leader with a passion for the ever-evolving world of online retail and a proven track record of building high-performing teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with the division's overall business objectives, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
    • Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets and drive the team to consistently exceed them.
    • Stay at the forefront of e-commerce trends, monitoring competitor activities, platform advancements, and shifts in consumer behavior.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and agility within the e-commerce team, embracing new technologies and approaches.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of 15 e-commerce professionals, including 4 direct reports, fostering their development and maximizing their potential.
    • Create a collaborative and high-performing team environment that values initiative and rewards excellence.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • As a key member of the CPD divisional management team, actively contribute to the overall division's culture of entrepreneurship, innovation, resilience, and collaboration.
    • Work closely with regional and global e-commerce teams to share best practices, gain insights, and ensure Vietnam remains a recognized leader in e-commerce within the L'Oréal Group.
  • Performance & Reporting:
    • Establish clear performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Regularly communicate performance updates and insights to senior management, providing actionable recommendations.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience & Expertise:
    • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a senior e-commerce role, ideally within the consumer goods or retail industry.
    • Deep understanding of e-commerce business models, digital marketing channels, and online customer acquisition strategies.
    • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a solid understanding of e-commerce analytics platforms.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
