You will join the Supply Chain Domain within the Global IT organization. This team is an SAP Center of Excellence composed of qualified experts, responsible for Run activities and Projects impacting various Core SAP solutions and/or satellite applications, including the new S/4 HANA solution. You will interact daily with L'Oréal Supply Chain business and IT teams.
The position is based at our Beauty Tech Headquarter in Saint-Ouen, a dynamic and "Tech-minded" location where all L'Oréal IT teams (working on Data, Architecture, Infrastructure, Online and Offline applications...) are gathered. What a day in the life of the Expert SAP SD / S4 HANA & Business Analyst team looks like:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced SAP SD / S4 HANA Expert Business Analyst to join our dynamic IT Operation and Finance Global team. You will be at the heart of optimizing and maintaining our critical systems, while actively contributing to our ambitious global SAP S/4 HANA digital transformation program.
This hybrid role is essential for ensuring the performance and evolution of our SAP solutions, guaranteeing a high quality of service and the satisfaction of our business users. You will navigate a complex organization, balancing run activities, evolutions, and strategic projects, within a stimulating international context.
What would be your future missions:
Expert Support and Maintenance (Level 4):
- Provide Level 4 support for SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) modules and S4 HANA environments, including resolving complex functional issues and managing incidents.
- Lead corrective and evolutionary maintenance of solutions, identifying potential optimizations and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Ensure daily monitoring of team activities related to corrective and evolutionary maintenance.
Functional Expertise and Business Analysis:
- Provide in-depth expertise on SAP SD functionalities and S4 HANA specificities, acting as a technical and functional reference for the department.
- Analyze the business needs of stakeholders (Global Operations Departments or local Business Units in countries) and translate requirements into relevant and effective SAP solutions.
- Your solid SAP expertise will enable you to solve any complex functional problem or address new business needs.
Evolution Request and Project Management:
- Manage the complete cycle of evolution requests, from requirements gathering to production deployment, including design, configuration, and testing.
- Work closely with development teams (internal or external) for the design, specification, and monitoring of evolutions and integrations, ensuring fluid exchanges between business needs and technical solutions.
- Actively contribute to major group projects related to SAP SD and S4 HANA, from the framing phase to implementation. This includes participation in group initiatives (data platform, retail, e-commerce...).
- Participate in the rationalization and redesign of L'Oréal's processes and IT landscape based on the new SAP S/4 HANA core system, particularly for remediation and run activities.
Your Key Objectives:
- Guarantee qualitative and proactive maintenance of SAP SD / S4 HANA systems, minimizing interruptions and optimizing performance.
- Ensure a high level of stakeholder satisfaction, both within IT teams (zone, O+O, architecture, developments, data) and business teams (global and local), through fluid communication and tailored solutions.
- Support L'Oréal Global in its upskilling on S/4 HANA and the evolution of its Supply Chain applications.

Secondly, in this specific position, it will be important for you to have:
- Education: Master's degree (Engineer, Master in Computer Science or Business with a strong interest in information systems).
- Experience: Significant experience, at least 5 years, in SAP SD module expertise and support, ideally on S4 HANA projects. In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain flows, Customer Care, and Order-to-Cash processes is essential.
- Desired Profile: Senior/Expert.
Technical Skills:
- Proven expertise in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) on ECC and S/4 HANA.
- Solid knowledge of the challenges and specificities of large-scale IT projects, particularly in Retail and/or E-commerce environments.
- A plus: "technical" skills on SAP (ABAP, Interfaces, APIs...) and a good understanding of software development methodologies to facilitate exchanges with technical teams.
Personal Qualities (Soft Skills):
- Curiosity, collaboration, impact-driven mindset, innovation, autonomy, and team spirit are fundamental values for us.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to interact with diverse stakeholders (IT, business, internal, external, including development teams) in a global environment. Proficiency in English is essential.
