As Expert in Material Informatics, you will be supporting metiers with data analytics focusing on machine learning model development and with new technology solutions for raw material development. This role would play a crucial part to develop our innovative cosmetics products – would be good for someone who is looking for a new challenge and disruptive innovation.

YOU WILL…

…lead mainly the following four areas of expertise:

 

  • Leading and/or supporting projects with external partners related to Materials informatics and transform the deliverables to the internal asset.
  • Providing technical support to internal projects and activities utilizing Materials Informatics and Data Science approach to accelerate the project progress and to leverage the level of achievement.
  • Bridging new technological concept of Materials Informatics with the internal stakeholders (lab members, data science team) with collaborative way
  • Training researchers and managers to enable them to use and implement Materials Informatics approach


YOU HAVE...

…..strong background in the following areas of knowledge (HARD SKILLS)

  • Programming/Scripting Languages (i.e. Python) 
  • MSc or PhD with minimum of 3 years of professional experiences in R&D or equivalent experience
  • Materials Science and/or computational Materials science of inorganic materials, soft matters (polymers, formula, etc.)
  • Statistics and Machine learning which are necessary for data science approach
  • Fluent or native in English. Conversational level in Japanese is a plus.
