Job Title:  Director – Education, Helena Rubinstein

Function:  O+O Learning Instructional Design

Supervisor Title: AVP O+O Experience (Lancôme + Helena Rubinstein) & VP, Marketing (Helena Rubinstein)

Location:  NYO – 10 Hudson Yards


Job Summary:

Leads the design, development, writing, and updating of all Helena Rubinstein Learning and Special programs as directed by the AVP and VP. Implements all skincare and special programs on time, in full, and according to budgetary guidelines. Works closely with Marketing and DMI partners to create and develop learning content. Evaluates all learning launches and programs to support the brand. 


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree

- 5 – 10 years of related experience

- Requires a recognized discipline expert within the company 

- Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business

- Identifies applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to lead others to solve complex problems; provides advice on a wide range of issues within area of subject matter expertise

- Contributes to setting standards around which others will operate within area of expertise 

- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills + strong presentation skills

- Knowledge of industry

- Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment 

- May lead programs/multiple projects and/or diverse functional teams 


Judgment and Decision Making: Offers judgment and opinions on strategy of team. Requires moderate supervision in decision-making.  


Financial Scope: Responsible for execution of annual budget and tracking of all curriculum and tools. Works with AVP and VP to reconcile budget trends vs. actuals for areas within learning and special programs. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

1.  Content Development: 70%

  • Develop forecast for newcurriculum,as well as revised forecasts for existingcurriculumaffected bynew productlaunches
  • Recognized as theSubject Matter Expert (SME)for design, development, andwritingofnewcontentas well as updates to existing curriculum
  • Develop all tools including planners/brochures, video content, digital lessons, and client-facing tools that support O+OPSC (Personal Skin Consultant) + PF (Personal Facialist)and Client Experience 
  • Author digital curriculum for alllessons; partner with DigitalManagerfor publication
  • Create and deliver new product launch tools and curriculum prior to launch date 
  • Plan(andexecute)seminars; create formats, assets, and tools
  • Partner withDigitalManagerandAVPfor communication of curriculum and tool launches online and offline

2.  US Marketing, and Field Execution Partnership: 20%

  • Initiatecommunicationand drivepartnershipwith DMIand US Marketing for pillarand launchsupport
  • Support and attend all global DMI seminars
  • Partner with US Marketingforproduct development& PDP optimization
  • Partner with Skincare Counsel to ensure all Learning content is legal & approved
  • Partner with Field Execution team to create, launch, and update essential curriculum, assets, and tools for core learning programs
  • Partner with Field Execution for advice on existing platforms to launch andfacilitateexpert seminars

3. Additional responsibilities: 10%

  • Analyze business: NPD& Mix of Business results and communicate action plan
  • Storevisits/BA roundtableson an ongoing basis
  • Maintain budgets– T&E,Seminars, Programs
