What You Will Learn:
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for handling all receiving functions associated with non-inventory items in accordance with plant policy from entry into the plant through appropriate documentation and filing. In addition, the Receiving Clerk will schedule and receive inbound freight for inventory items (chemicals and components).
Decisions made by the Receiving Clerk can directly impact Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Environment and Morale. They must make these decisions with only intermittent involvement from Supervision based on the knowledge gained from their trainings.
Safety: Fully supports an independent safety culture and works proactively to accomplish the safety mission in the plant of Zero Accidents.
Quality: Supports and embraces the quality mission of the plant.
Delivery: The ability of the receiving clerk to meet the production demands ensures that our customers receive our products on time. Strong record keeping of receipts and PO information is crucial. Must support needs of the Plant by accommodating requested deliveries while supporting the productivity of the department with timing /location of appointments.
Cost: Operate according to the productivity standards ensure that cost to produce is aligned with the financial commitments. Ensure PO procedures are followed with receiving in operating systems.
Environment: Supports and embraces the environmental mission of the plant.
Morale: Must be an actively engaged employee exhibiting a positive attitude and a focus on teamwork to achieve best in class results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Set appointment schedules for chemical, component and outside contractors inbound freight. Give drivers direction to company plants Florence and Walton. | 30%

2. Receive the items into the financial systems daily based on the packing list quantities. | 20%

3. Receive items and review against the packing list for accuracy & quality. Duties to make sure packages for north building are shipped over. | 20%
|
4. Responsible for making sure all non-inventory items have packing slips and check to verify I have received packing slips from north building also the physical receipts of non-inventory items in a secured location under their control. | 15% |
5. Notify the requisitioner of the deliveries and see that packages for HR & Plant Manager are delivered to their offices. | 5% |
6. File and maintain the packing lists and POs per company policy and ordering supply for whse. | 5% |
7. Assist Flows department with forklift support during breaks and lunch. | 5% |

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required;
Warehouse experience preferred;
Forklift license preferred;
Advanced skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook);
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
