Your mission
As a Senior Manufacturing & Sourcing Finance Analyst, reporting directly to the CFO of the PPD Operations, you will be a strategic co-pilot for the PPD Operations teams. You will ensure the financial steering and value creation across the entire scope of the PPD Operations. Your mission is to guarantee the reliability of financial data and act as a key partner for operational stakeholders (Sourcing, Plants, Product Development). You will translate business ambitions and "L'Oréal for the Future" sustainability goals into robust financial trajectories.
Your key accountabilities
1. Financial Steering & Sourcing Performance
- Performance Monitoring: Drive the financial control of Sourcing and Manufacturing activities to provide a synthesized and documented vision of performance.
- Sourcing Partnership: Actively challenge Sourcing teams on financial targets, identifying and quantifying Risks & Opportunities.
- Value Creation: Model sourcing strategies and conduct value analysis to optimize profitability and identify productivity levers.
- Cross-Domain Consolidation: Consolidate Sourcing performance across domains in close collaboration with other Finance Analysts and Zones.
2. Manufacturing & Corporate Scope: CAPEX & OPEX
- CAPEX Management: Lead the tracking and projection of industrial investments (CAPEX), particularly related to molds, new launches, and plant equipment.
- OPEX : Monitor operational expenses (technical development, regulatory fees).
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the construction of Budgets and Trends for your scope, ensuring data quality and strict adherence to Group/DGO (Global Operations Dept) calendars.
3. Internal Control & Processes
- Data Integrity: Guarantee the consistency of financial data between Sourcing teams and Plant teams.
- Best Practices: Develop, deploy, and reinforce Internal Control standards and management best practices within your perimeter.
- Methodological Support: Serve as a key methodological reference for Sourcing and Manufacturing teams.
4. Communication & People Development
- Reporting: Produce monthly reporting and executive syntheses for Sourcing Teams, Operations Management, and Plants.
- Mentorship: Potentially manage and develop an intern or apprentice, guiding them through reporting and analysis tasks.
- Network Coordination: Drive the divisional controlling team by managing financial cycles and developping continuous improvement actions .
Your profile
- Experience: You have solid experience as a Finance Analyst, ideally in an industrial, FMCG, or sourcing environment.
- Technical Expertise: You have a strong command of accounting and management fundamentals. Proficiency with Group tools (e.g., SAP, Magnitude, Compass) and Excel is essential.
- Analytical Mindset: You are recognized for your rigor and your ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for decision-makers.
- Leadership & Drive: You possess strong communication skills and the "drive" to navigate a multi-functional ecosystem. You are comfortable challenging and convincing stakeholders at various levels.
