What are we looking for?
We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to develop the business through retail sales and retail excellence. He/she will be responsible for direct management of our Beauty Advisors (BA), ensuring sales and operational excellence of the retail team and also be part of the commercial team, bringing to life on our planned activations and agreed displays (Home Shelves, Secondary Displays, Event coordination).
- Building commercial competency of our BAs with regular tracking of sales versus time past & providing timely coaching to the individual Bas with strategic thinking to ensure commercial outputs are achieved.
- Improve BAs Efficiency in the POS, coordinate and follow up BAs Individual Evaluation on objective criteria to assess 3 expertise facets - Products / Sales / Retail & Service.
- Setting commercial targets for the BAs on a store & franchise to drive sellout growth achievement vs previous periods and also bringing focus on strategic launches.
- Analyze sales results and sales KPIs with follow up actions to improve franchise performance in our BAs.
- Ensure Retail Excellence at the POS, with audit checks to ensure proper brand image, planogramming, secondary display implementations at the POS.
- Be the lead coordinator to ensure retail excellence deployment of planned activations, home shelve revamping and secondary displays deployment.
- Lead, coach, motivate and engage the field team to drive the optimal team performance and dynamics
- Manage Budget of Retail per brand in their training costs (trips, gifts, uniforms…) , training tools & support in the replacement of retail fixtures
- In charge of the sellout results, Individual evaluation of BAs, and retention of the beauty advisors
The ideal candidate should have:
- 5-7 years’ work experience in Skincare education and Retail environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong negotiation skills and good commercial acumen
- Analytical skills and capacity to identify opportunities and propose action plans
- High sense of service
- People orientated and able to motivate, coach and train staff
