A Day in the Life
As an Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of L’Oréal USA by identifying and hiring top talent across multiple functions. Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition for Research & Innovation and Operations, you’ll join a dynamic team of 30+ talent professionals spanning Corporate Functions Recruitment, Divisional Recruitment, Early Careers, Employer Branding, Talent Management, and Talent Development.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Candidate Experience Management: Ensure a seamless and engaging experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process, end to end.
- Sourcing & Screening: Leverage innovative tools to identify and assess top talent, as well as represent L’Oreal USA at conferences and career fairs.
- Skills and Talent Assessment: Evaluate candidates’ potential and alignment with L’Oréal’s values and business needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with local hiring managers and HR teams as well as global partners to understand business needs and deliver tailored recruitment strategies.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize recruitment intelligence, generative AI and external insights to inform decision-making and reporting.
- Internal Recruitment: Lead internal hiring processes, promoting career mobility and growth within L’Oréal.
This role offers the unique opportunity to recruit across several functions, collaborate with diverse business units, and promote our new Research & Innovation center. You’ll also pilot cutting-edge tools like generative AI to enhance recruitment insights and processes.
We Are Looking For
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have a completed bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or a related field (required).
- Excel in candidate experience management, skills and talent assessment, and stakeholder management.
- Are skilled in sourcing and screening candidates and adept at prioritization in a dynamic environment.
- Bring expertise in critical thinking, influencing, and business acumen to drive results.
- Are data driven and looking to leverage tools including generative AI to augment recruiting capabilities
- Are fluent in English and passionate about building relationships across teams, divisions and zones including with global partners.
- Are able to be onsite, in the office as this is an essential function of the position (required)
- Are authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis, without the need for sponsorship now or in the future (required).

- Base Salary Range: $77,400 - $110,300 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
