What You Will Learn

This position is seen as a key support position to the entire PPD Shows and Events team with a key focus on the retail brands, the PPD Sales and Education teams.   Accountable for the management, negotiations, and budgets for room blocks and food and beverage vendors across key PPD events.  Support the day-to day operations & execution of assigned event tasks. This position works closely with all PPD Event Planners & Sales and Education organization including external vendors to ensure the team reaches its maximum potential.

  • Lead the event logistics for Summit Salon Events each year. 
  • Assist with the logistics of Meetings, Trade Shows and Distributor Shows including but not limited to the selection of Venue, Room Block, FB, Badges, Artists, and Presenters.
  • Key contact and logistics lead for PPD Student events starting to summer of 2026. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with warehouse team, assist in the management of the logistics of all brand properties in storage, including biannual audit. Work with manager to improve inventory systems. 
  • Partner with Event Planners of budget reconciliation and PO creation as needed. 
  • Assist with the development and execution of strategic Redken Sales Events while partnering with the Redken Education team to create fully integrated events. 
  • Brief graphics and collateral materials used for any event and work closely with the brand marketing teams as needed. 
  • Provide on-site production support to Shows and Events team for one to two events per month as needed.  

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint 

 

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Marketing, Sales or Education.
  • Onsite execution is required, therefore monthly travel is necessary, approx. twice a month
  • This role will require periods of standing and lifting boxes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous shows and events experience
