Summary
The Area Manager overseas the operations of a group of stores. He/She is responsible for managing the area’s operational and service excellence plans, oversees the order fulfillment, and drive productivity across the stores. He/She is adaptable, highly-driven and sales-oriented. He/She also possesses strong people management skills and is able to engage with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing of POs, not limited to new launches, price change, FOCs
- Offer consultation and recommendations to store managers on overcoming operations challenges
- Work closely with Marketing Department and provide insights and recommendations on promotional activities
- Responsible for in-store promotions and events execution
- Supervise, coach & motivate Store Managers Managers & BCs
- Conduct regular counter visits and ensure the development of store managers and/or BCs through regular coaching
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Able to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- 8 years of experience from the field, with at least 3 years of managerial experience
- Experience in Sephora will be a bonus, but not a requirement
