REPORTS TO: Manager, Inventory Planning

THE ADVENTURE: At SalonCentric, the professional products distribution partner of L’Oréal USA, we believe that beauty is a powerful force that moves the world. As a Supply Planning Analyst, you are at the heart of our operational excellence. You are not just managing inventory; you are ensuring that our salon partners and stylists have the tools they need to succeed. You will be the bridge between our brands and our distribution centers, navigating a fast-paced environment where data meets physical reality.

THE MISSION: You will be responsible for the end-to-end inventory operations of assigned brands within the SalonCentric supply chain. Your mission is to optimize stock levels, synchronize purchase orders, and foster seamless communication between Demand Planning, Distribution Centers, and Sales teams. You are the conductor of the inventory flow, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inventory Orchestration: Create, review, and release daily purchase orders across four distribution centers using Anaplan, ensuring optimal stock health.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with Demand Planning to flag forecast deviations and overconsumption, ensuring agility in our replenishment strategies.
  • Shipment Intelligence: Proactively track inbound shipments to guarantee timely arrivals and troubleshoot potential supply chain bottlenecks.
  • Launch Excellence: Lead the "staging" of inventory for major product launches and high-stakes promotions to optimize the workflow within our distribution centers.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain influential relationships across SalonCentric and the broader L’Oréal organization to align on priorities and shared goals.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Identify major inventory shifts and service challenges, providing detailed analysis and actionable solutions to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • System Optimization: Manage and maintain stock parameters within Anaplan and provide critical priority directives to the Deployment Team.
  • Financial Stewardship: Identify opportunities to reduce Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory and assist in the construction of total inventory budgets and trend forecasting.
  • Process Innovation: Constantly seek efficiencies in ordering profiles and supply chain workflows to drive continuous improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field (or 3+ years of equivalent professional experience).
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in supply planning, supply chain, or data analytics (preferably in FMCG, Beauty, or Retail).
  • Critical Thinker: You don’t just see numbers; you see the story behind them. You have a proven ability to solve complex problems under pressure.
  • Communication Pro: You can distill complex supply chain data into clear, concise updates for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Savvy: Mid-to-advanced Excel skills are a must. Experience with ERP systems and Anaplan is a significant advantage.
  • Agile Mindset: You thrive in an environment that is constantly evolving and can pivot your priorities as the business demands.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You are a dedicated team player who enjoys working independently but understands that our greatest wins come from collective effort.
  • Desired Plus: Knowledge of forecasting methodologies and a passion for process improvement.
