What You Will Learn:

The Category Analyst is responsible for managing item set-up, catalog health, & maintenance of Consumer Product Division (CPD) portfolio on Amazon. The individual will work with the E-Commerce Sales, Supply Chain, Packaging, CX teams to ensure timely content availability and clean catalog data. This individual will be the subject matter expert for L’Oreal CPD’s Digital Catalogue thus ensuring perfect execution online.

 

Main Tasks:

  • Own the Digital Catalog Maintenance for Amazon.com ensure all backend Product Description Pages are reflective of current CPD assortment/assets, available for ordering, & in-stock.
  • Manage New Item Setup process for key launch periods on Amazon.com platforms
  • Own ISTA 6 & SIOC Certification Process
  • Partner with content syndication team to ensure all internal assets are delivered & executed on-time in order to align with New Item Setup timelines.
  • Ensure catalog health by monitoring digital shelf for top priority items
  • Manage distribution of online catalog scorecard across organization to drive weekly action items & category level launch health.
  • Responsible for weekly Amazon catalog scrub & troubleshoot discrepancies against weekly order report to ensure we meet fill rate / replenishment targets.

  • Brand Asset Managers/Ecommerce Content Team
  • Amazon CX Brand leads 


What We Are Looking For:

  • 2 to 3 years in a strategy or analytics-focused role, working on projects that have enabled them to build strong quantitative skills and business judgment (e.g., management consulting)
  • Advanced math and analytical skills, fluency in Excel, SAP and databases
  • Interact effectively, including negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated analytical approach to business management
  • Ability to make decisions aligned with commercial fundamentals and maximize P&L
  • Ability to break down complex problems into pieces that can be solved with data, analysis, and key assumptions
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights, communicate across different internal and external stakeholders
