We have a suitable opening in the Quality Division for the role of Astt. Quality Manager, based at Silvassa & reporting to Pune Plant. You come with a relevant experience of 5-8 years .  In this role, you will ensure its activities in managing operations linked to overall Loreal representative /receiving/ storage /QC analysis/ Product release/ shipping of finished goods in compliance with the objectives and the Group policy

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure implementation of L'Oréal Quality system at contract manufacturing units.
  • Ensure and monitor that core values of L'Oréal quality Management system and EHS guidelines are adhered and respected in true spirit. 
  • Ensure RM, PM, Bulk and FG are controlled and analysed as per L'Oréal quality system and FDA. 
  • Periodically review implementation and effectiveness of quality tools, concept and procedures. 
  • Ensure reliable, true and traceable data and MIS. 
  • Plan pre-Launch activities like Industrial Feasibility, Quality/Safety Risk Assessments, FDA Approvals, Contract Manufacturing Approvals, Reference Sample arrangement etc. 
  • Execute Launch of New Formulae as per L’Oréal standards-First Batch follow-up (Manufacturing, Filling & Packing), First 3 Batch Validations, R&I approvals, AOC, Stability etc. 
  • Evaluate adequacy of Quality Assurance Standards and Procedures. 
  • Compile and Report Monthly Quality Indicators like Consumer Complaints, ZD NC, BPC, COC, RM NC, PM NC, SQD, Promo etc.
  • Communicate and Implement update of L’Oréal Methods, Procedures and Requirements at Contract Manufacturers. 
  • Investigate Consumer Complaints and non-conformance issues. 
  • Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions. 
  • Develop, Recommend and Monitor Corrective and Preventive actions. 
  • Identify training needs and Organize Trainings to meet Quality standards. 
  • Coordinate and support on-site audits (Quality, EHS, Social, CSD). Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions. 
  • Serve as Technical link between Contract Manufacturers, Plants, R&I, P&D, CAD, Regulatory & Suppliers. 
  • Implement Quality requirements like Stability, Retainer Samples, External Testing, Lab standards, Documentations etc. 
  • Ensure and implement improvement on SQD front. 
  • Actively participate on evaluation and qualification of new subcontractors. 
  • Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the quality systems.
  • Drive quality & Hygiene culture on subcon sites, identify gaps and roll out programs to improve by closely working with subcontractor team.

Education:

M.Sc. Chemistry / Microbiology / B.Tech. Chemical / Cosmetic Technology

Professional Experience: 5-8 years Quality Professional, working with Subcontract Mfg is added advantage

 

Physical Demands (e.g., % travel): Travel will be 20% and need based.
