•Independently manage assigned sensory expert evaluation activities with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
•Take full ownership of assigned sensory evaluation/FE projects, from initial request through final report delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
•Design and execute sensory studies, including defining objectives, selecting appropriate methodologies, and developing test protocols tailored to project needs.
•Prepare and conduct sensory evaluations with participants, ensuring data quality, adherence to established procedures, and compliance with L'Oréal standards.
•Conduct fieldwork (average 4 days a week) to ensure robust data collection and on-site project execution.
•Analyze sensory data and interpret results to draw meaningful conclusions that drive innovation and decision-making.
•Generate comprehensive reports summarizing project findings and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
Development and Leadership of L'Oréal's Unique FE Skill
•Take long-term ownership and leadership of L'Oréal's unique FE skill, ensuring its continuous evolution and relevance to the business.
•Proactively develop and refine new methods and expertise within the product category by anticipating future needs and market trends.
•Lead the training and onboarding of new contractors and junior members, ensuring they are equipped with L'Oréal's unique FE skill and competencies.
•Successfully complete expert training and yearly performance evaluations to maintain and elevate expertise in the field.
Skill Advancement and Global Collaboration X ProExpert
•Further enhance and level up existing FE skills by exploring innovative approaches, leveraging new technologies, and integrating advanced methodologies.
•Assist team members in designing and executing customized tests, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
•Coordinate expert evaluations with the global expert community, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing across regions.
Trend Awareness and Continuous Improvement
•Stay informed about current makeup and skincare trends, incorporating relevant insights into sensory project planning and execution.
•Proactively identify opportunities to improve sensory processes, contributing to method development initiatives and driving operational excellence.
•Champion a culture of continuous improvement by integrating feedback, best practices, and emerging trends into sensory evaluation practices.
Requirements:
·Around 2 years Experienced in cosmetic industry and is knowledgeable of cosmetic product performance
·Proficiency in basic data analysis (Excel) and Power Point, Photoshop and Video Editing (plus)
·Fluent Chinese and English
·Experienced, knowledge and interests of cosmetics industry
·One has passion to be makeup/skincare beautician, willing to close touch and try products on real volunteers.
·Outstanding observation abilities
·Team spirit, initiative, concerned by quality / the importance of detail.
·Innovative analytical thinking and problem solving attitude.
·Proactive and can do attitude.
·Good communication skills, willing to express.
·Good English skill in oral and writing
·If you have the following capabilities, it would be a plus:
·Knowledge and experience of basic statistics i.e., descriptive, T- test, ANOVA, Chi-square statistics
