Our Safety, Regulatory, Claim & Microbiology (SRCM) team, is looking for Regulatory Affairs Specialist. This team plays essential role to ensure regulatory compliance, provide strategic regulatory guidance, and manage risks to enable successful product development, launch, and communication in Japan

As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, your main responsibilities are as following but not limited to:  

  • To ensure Product compliance throughout product life cycle

    1)To ensure Regulatory Intelligence by maintaining expert knowledge of all relevant Japanese regulations related our products (cosmetics, QD, non-cosmetics).

    2)To ensure access to market, product notification and /or registration process in Japan, including preparation and submission of documentation, communication with regulatory authorities, and securing necessary approvals

    3)Risk management by identifying and assess potential regulatory risks associated with products placed on the market in Japan

    4)Product Communication - Provide guidance on the development of effective and compliant product communication strategies

  • Stakeholder Engagement - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, industry associations, and internal teams
  • Internal Collaboration - Ensure that regulatory requirements are integrated into all relevant business processes
  • Team Contribution - Actively contribute to the SRCM Japan team's overall success by sharing knowledge, providing support to colleagues, and participating in team initiatives


To succeed in this position, you have : 

  • BSc or MSc in science (pharmacy, science) 
  • 5 to 7 years experience in regulatory and product communication in cosmetics or non-cosmetics industry
  • Fluent in English and Japanese
