Mission and defining characteristics:

  • Own eCommerce consumption and penetration targets and responsible to develop plans to grow market share
  • eCommerce and eRetail customer representative; strong relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Strategic leader for opportunity maximization across eCommerce account and engagement of Brand sales leadership
  • Identify and implement content and assortment optimizations to improve customer experience and conversion
  • Significant leadership for upskilling key account leaders on eComm
  • Stay ahead of what happens in the market

Main tasks:

Customer Relationship Builder

  • Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders as credible business partner: senior, empowered, reliable, and helpful
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of Customer’s ecommerce strategic objectives, priorities, shoppers, decision-making process, and KPIs
  • Key influencer within the multifunctional team to drive engagement with the customer and own all commercial fundamentals (incl. supply chain and in-store execution etc.) that align with customer

eTeam partner

  • Drives coordination of support functions to deliver on cross-functional goals (e.g., eShopper Marketing, CDMs/BAS/ACMs, Supply, Finance)
  • Upskill commercial team partners on eCommerce channel & key levers to drive the business
  • Contribute to eRetail team development by way of cross-sharing, coaching & training

eCommerce and eRetail Strategist

  • Drive growth with customer and maximize brand’s strategic opportunities through Shopper Insights and a category view of the customer’s omni-channel strategy
  • With CTL, create channel strategy that is ahead of market changes
  • Influence, develop and execute customer strategy for sales growth in alignment with CTL’s and BBDs to penetrate accounts in effective and profitable way

Achiever

  • Own Consumption Targets for CPD
  • Develop and implement profitable plans to drive sell out for all brands across L’Oreal Paris and Maybelline Garnier essie.
  • Track Customer’s business and sales and forecasting to proactively address demand and gaps and to drive consumption
  • Partner closely with NAMs & CTLs to align on online targets & plans to achieve goals.
  • Manage & maintain monthly consumption LE
  • Responsible for managing trade budget at customer level in partnership with NAM

Qualifications/experience:

  • Exceptional track record of account relationship management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of eRetail and online sales
  • Interacts effectively, including negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated analytical approach to business management
  • Ability to influence other functions and drive coordination across groups (even without reporting lines)
  • Ability to make decisions aligned with commercial fundamentals and maximize P&L
  • Effective in motivating and developing talent
  • 3-5 years of CPG eCommerce experience with demonstrated sales results and experience working in multi-functional teams
